Introduction to Suicide
In the world today, there are many
pressures, worries, and stresses that make everyone feel a little overwhelmed from time to time. Financial issues, family
disputes, and jumping through the rest of life's hoops can all be events that make people feel a little uneasy within
the balance or their lives. The results of worry andbeing unbalanced in personal affairs can lead to unhappiness and
illness for an individual and their family. Depression and headaches can be examples of reoccurring symptoms or side affects
that may lead to more relentless actions in the near future. Suicide is one of the most popular and well known ways of death
in the world. The act of taking one's own life and leaving behind no explanation or reasoning as to why the did it is becoming
more and more of an issue, and more of a world crisis. The loss of a loved one or even just an acquaintance do to suicide
will often lead to several more endeavors, using the same method or one more severe. Although it is unknown why so many people
choose to end their lives with such a tragic fate, educating people about prevention and coping with loss, may be what it
takes to lessen the uprising statistics. Experts agree that suicide occurs frequently enough to be considered an important
public health problem in the United States today, and the knowledge and helpful basic facts that individuals know may be what
is needed to help a person in need of counseling until they reach the help that they necessitate. The increasing suicide rates
throughout the United States among all age groups are calling for major concern. No one should die by deliberate methods of
pain, and to help eliminate the increasing value of suicide in society's eyes, the comprehension, teaching, and using of suicide
prevention skills must be taught and understood by everyone, and not just those who experience and deal with a loss caused
by suicide.
